heavier, the battery needs charging, and servicing costs more than a normal bike because of the motor and electronics. None of that is a deal breaker, but it is worth knowing before you buy.<\/p><h3>The trade offs<\/h3><p>A flat battery turns a light trail bike into a genuinely heavy one to pedal or carry home.
