PROJECT SUMMARY AND APPROACH

A growing business often outpaces its systems, so we start by getting the basics right before planning the next step.

At the first meeting we listen to the owner and look at the latest financial statements, bank records and management reports. We want to understand how the business makes money, which customers and products matter most, and where cash gets stuck.

Next we tidy up the bookkeeping, agree a chart of accounts and set up a simple monthly report. The owner can then see sales, margins and costs against budget in a few pages.

With reliable figures in place, we build a twelve-month budget and a rolling cash flow forecast. We test what happens if sales drop, if a big customer pays late or if new staff are hired, so the owner can plan for each case.

What we need from you

Please share your recent financial statements, bank statements and any SARS correspondence. We also ask for a list of key customers, suppliers and monthly fixed costs. Everything you share with us stays strictly confidential and is used only for your project.
