SOME WORDS ABOUT US

Roasted by a small team

We love what we do

Every bag we roast gets tasted first, because we only sell coffee we would drink ourselves.

Our working process

We roast small batches, check each one by taste, then pack and ship within a day.

ROASTED WITH CARE

About our online store

Roasted in small batches and shipped within a day of roasting.

Rooibean started as a small roastery in Cape Town, roasting a few kilograms at a time on an old drum roaster. Word got around, and soon friends were asking us to post beans to family in other provinces.

These days we still roast in small batches and ship within a day of roasting, so your coffee never sits around for long.

Our company history and facts

I used to think good coffee needed a fancy machine. Rooibean's pour over kit and a bit of patience proved me completely wrong.

How we roast your coffee

There is something calming about grinding beans in the morning, before the kettle even boils. It is my favourite part of the day.
