Our Story
The story of Vesperine started at a kitchen table in Observatory, Cape Town. Nadia Fourie trained as a chemist in 2016, and her love of raw plant material and careful blending turned into a business. Drawn to the smell of fynbos, citrus groves and warm wood after rain, Nadia spent years learning her craft, testing ingredients until each blend sat right on the skin. What began as a weekend habit grew into a small studio with six people, known for careful work, fair prices and honest labelling. Today, Vesperine still makes every batch by hand in Cape Town.
We blend and bottle everything in Cape Town in small batches, so nothing sits in a warehouse. You get a fresher scent, and we tell you what is in it.
No. Nothing we make is tested on animals, and we ask the same of our suppliers. Our packaging is recyclable and printed locally.
Most of our scents hold for six to eight hours. Humid weather makes them fade faster, so spray again after lunch.
Yes. Every fragrance comes in a 2ml sample for R120, so you can wear it for a day or two before buying a full bottle. Samples ship anywhere in the country.
Keep it upright, in the box, somewhere cool and dark. Heat and sunlight spoil a scent, so avoid the bathroom windowsill.
