We spoke to teachers and learners in the Western Cape about what works.\n\nThe biggest problems were data costs and shared devices. Text and pictures use less data than video. A printed copy of the weekly plan also helps families who cannot always get online.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What schools can try<\/h4>\n\n<p>Start with one class and one weekly task sent by WhatsApp. Ask learners to reply with a photo of their work.
