Some people learn best in a classroom, and others need to study from home around work and family. Neither way is better for everyone. It depends on how you live and how you like to learn.
Contact learning gives you a lecturer in the room, a study group and a fixed routine. Online learning gives you flexibility, but you must keep yourself on schedule.
At Vaardig College you can choose either option for many courses. Speak to our admissions team and we will help you pick what fits.
Think about your week
Count the hours you can truly give to study. If you work shifts or travel far, online lessons may suit you better. If you need structure and company, choose contact classes at our Umhlanga campus.
Be honest about your habits
Online study needs discipline and a quiet place to work. Ask yourself if you will log in without a teacher reminding you. If not, a mix of both can work well.
