What is Studiepoort?

Studiepoort is a student portal where you study online, submit assignments and download course material in one place, from your phone or laptop at any time.

What can I do on Studiepoort?

The portal keeps everything in one place. You can open course material, submit assignments, check your marks and read notices from lecturers. It works on a phone or laptop, and lessons can be saved so you use less data when you study.

Why should I join a study group?

Students often learn best from each other. Most of what sticks comes from talking through a problem with a classmate, not only from reading notes. A study group helps you keep to deadlines, share tips on assignments and ask questions you may be too shy to ask a lecturer.

On Studiepoort you can join a course discussion board, share notes with your group and get replies from tutors such as Sipho Ndlovu. Groups are also a good way to practise for exams, and many students tell us they feel less alone when they study online.

Are any courses free to try?

Most of our short courses can be tried for free, and some courses are completely free. If you buy a paid course and decide within 30 days that it is not the right fit, you can ask for a refund under our refund policy.

All we ask is that you contact our support team first if you get stuck, so we can help you before you give up.

What kind of support do you offer?

Every student gets access to start-up guides, course notes and a help desk. You can also join the student forum. Please read our refund policy and terms for more details.

Who helps if the portal fails?

Our support team answers by email and WhatsApp from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. Sipho Ndlovu and the team usually reply within one working day.
