Set a finish date on day one and work backwards. If a course has twelve lessons and you have six weeks, that is two lessons a week.

Tell someone about your goal. A friend, a colleague or our student support team can check in with you. Zanele Khumalo and Nomvula Dlamini often do exactly that for learners who fall behind.

Finishing a course is mostly about showing up on the days you do not feel like it.

Nomvula Dlamini, Student Support Manager

If you miss a week, do not quit. Pick up at the last lesson you finished, not at the beginning. Download videos on Wi-Fi so load shedding or a low data balance does not stop you, and reward yourself when each module is done.

How to plan your weekly study time

Look at your week and find three fixed slots, even if each is only forty minutes.
