HOW WE LET A RENTAL PROPERTY
Letting your property should bring in steady income without constant worry, so we handle the daily work for you.
We start with a rental appraisal. We visit the property, look at similar homes to let nearby and suggest a realistic monthly rent. A two-bedroom apartment in Claremont typically lets for around R18 500 per month, depending on finishes and parking. We then take photographs and advertise the property online.
Every applicant completes a written application. We check their credit record, confirm their income with payslips and speak to their current landlord before recommending anyone to you.
Once you approve a tenant, we draw up the lease, collect the deposit and first month’s rent, and do an ingoing inspection with photographs.
While the lease runs
We collect the rent on the first of every month and pay it to you with a clear statement. If rent is late, we follow up that week. We arrange repairs with trusted contractors and ask you before any larger job. When the lease ends, we inspect and settle the deposit fairly.
