Toys That Keep Kids Busy while Parents Browse The Library Shelves For Just A Few More Minutes

We filled the children's corner with wooden puzzles and simple games that do not need batteries or a screen.

  • Wooden puzzles that survive being dropped on a hard floor.
  • Board games with big pieces that are hard to lose.
  • Building blocks that do not need any instructions to enjoy.

A year later, most of the original set is still on the shelf. The library staff only asked us to replace one puzzle with missing pieces.
