Kids clothes that survive the term
Children wear through knees and cuffs first, so reinforced seams matter more than the fabric being expensive. Deep hems help too: a good centimetre or two of turn-up can be let down when they grow, which buys a whole extra season out of the same garment.
Buy a size up rather than two. Anything too big gets dragged, caught and worn out before they ever grow into it.
