Polarised grey lenses that cut glare off water and tar.
Every Larkspec frame starts as a flat sheet of acetate or a bar of titanium on the bench at our Loop Street workshop. We cut, shape and polish each one by hand, then fit lenses ground to your prescription or tinted for hard Cape light. Hinges are set so the arms sit level behind your ears, and the nose pads are adjusted on the spot.
A frame should feel like nothing at all by mid morning. If you are still aware of it, the fit is wrong and we will change it.
Lenses carry a scratch resistant coating and full UV protection, and the polarised options cut glare off water and tar. Wipe them with the cloth in the box, never a shirt sleeve, and rinse off sea salt with cool water. Every pair ships in a hard case.

FRAME DETAILS
Hand cut acetate front with a keyhole bridge, finished over three days of tumbling and hand polishing. Temples measure 145 mm and the frame weighs about 28 grams, so it stays comfortable through a full working day.
