SMALL BATCH CRAFT
Every piece in our shop is shaped by a person, not a machine. Our makers in the Midlands work from home studios and small workshops, often with materials gathered nearby. That is why no two items are exactly alike, and why we love them.
We choose makers who take pride in their work, pay them fairly and tell their stories on our blog so you know who made what you bring home.
Each order is packed by hand at our Church Street shop in Pietermaritzburg. If you are buying a gift, ask us for wrapping and a card. We ship across South Africa and are always happy to help with sizes, colours and care.

Every piece at Kraalwerk is made by hand in the Midlands. Meet the local makers behind our beadwork and baskets. Each has a story worth knowing.
