Christmas Tree String Art Board
Original price was: R850.00.R699.00Current price is: R699.00.
Festive string art on a reclaimed plank board, with green thread and small baubles shaped into a Christmas tree.
Our wood pieces are cut and finished by hand in small workshops around Howick and the Midlands. Each one starts as offcuts, fallen timber or reclaimed planks that would otherwise be burnt. The maker sands it smooth, joins it with care and seals it with natural oil or wax. You will see the grain, small knots and tool marks, and that is the point of buying handmade.
Look after it like a good wooden spoon: keep it dry, wipe it clean and oil it once a year.
Our woodworkers learned their craft over many years, and some teach young people in their communities. Every purchase helps keep these skills alive in KwaZulu-Natal. If you would like a different size or finish, ask us and we will check with the maker. We send each order in recycled packaging, with a card that names the person who made it.
