Goldwren started in 2014, when two bench jewellers took a small room on Bloem Street and began making pieces to order. We still work that way. Nine of our eighteen people sit at the bench, casting, filing, setting and polishing by hand, using recycled silver, solid gold and stones we can trace. Nothing leaves the studio until someone who did not make it has checked it under a loupe.
