Before you enrol, it helps to know how our admissions process works. Thandeka Mkhize, our Head of Admissions, explains it in three steps. First, choose a course and check the entry requirements. Second, complete the application form and send your ID and matric results. Third, pay the registration fee or apply for a bursary. Ask about payment plans if you need them.

Fees differ by course. Short courses start from R950, while diplomas cost more and can be paid monthly. Call us on 031 555 0119 or visit the campus in Umhlanga for a printed fee guide.

How to build real skills

Skills grow when you practise them often. Pick one small task each week, such as writing a short report or building a simple page, and finish it. Ask your lecturer for feedback while the work is still fresh. At Vaardig College in Umhlanga, our short courses are built around this kind of steady practice.

Why learning pays off

A qualification opens doors, but what you can actually do keeps them open. Employers in Durban want people who can use their training from the first day. Choose a course that matches the work you want, and keep learning once you are hired.
