Thandiwe Mokoena
Academic Head at Klikleer
Hi! I’m Thandiwe. I lead the academic team at Klikleer Academy in Braamfontein. I have spent years teaching adults and school leavers new skills, in classrooms and online. Hundreds of our students have finished a course and found work. I am also a proud Joburg local.
Background and Experience
Before joining Klikleer, Thandiwe taught at a Johannesburg TVET college and later ran short course programmes for a training provider in Sandton. She now leads the academic team, which plans every course and live class. Of the students who finished our last web skills intake, most found work or started freelancing within six months.
I’ve since focused my time on bringing classroom teaching to an online setting. In 2021 I launched our Digital Skills Starter programme, which has become one of our most popular and best rated offerings. I was also voted Klikleer Staff Favourite of 2025.Education
I have spent years finding the best way to teach practical skills to adults and school leavers, and I am glad to share what works with you.
I can say that our courses are practical, clearly explained and built for South African students who study around work.
