Fourways Store for TV, Audio and Home Theatre
Klankbord is a TV, audio and home theatre store in Fourways, Johannesburg. We started with a small shop and a few soundbars, and today we stock smart TVs, speakers, headphones and projectors from brands such as Duinwave, Marula Sound and Hoogveld Audio. Our team also mounts TVs and sets up home cinema rooms across Gauteng.
We opened our doors on William Nicol Drive in 2019 and have helped thousands of local families get better sound and picture. Honest advice comes first.
A good TV starts with the right room
Before you pick a screen, measure your wall and your seating distance. A 55 inch screen suits most lounges in Johannesburg flats, while a larger room can take a 65 or 75 inch. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the wall and we will advise. Our team at Fourways will show you the screens side by side so you can see the difference in picture and sound.
Sound is half of the picture
Flat TVs have thin speakers, so a soundbar or a 5.1 Home Theatre System makes a big difference. Soundbars start from R2,999 and full systems from R7,999. We can play the same film through three different setups in our listening room, and you decide what sounds right. Bring a favourite song or a scene you know well. It helps.
Shopping with us is simple
Browse the range online, then collect in store or ask for delivery. Our prices are in Rand and include VAT. Questions about HDMI, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi streaming? Our support team is on hand by phone and WhatsApp. Choosing and buying your gear should be a pleasant experience. We are open seven days a week.
We also offer wall mounting and setup. Our installers arrive on time, tidy the cables and show you how everything works before they leave. Book a visit when you order and we will confirm the date by WhatsApp.
Fourways TV, audio and home theatre store
Our promotions run for a few weeks at a time and change with the season. You will find real savings on smart TVs, soundbars, speakers, headphones and projectors. Every offer is listed with the old price and the new price, so you can see what you save. Stock is limited on some items, so we show how many are left in the store. If a deal is not on the shelf at Fourways, ask the team and we will check the warehouse for you. We would rather you buy once and be happy than chase the lowest number on the day.
Prices on this page are in Rand and include VAT. Installation, wall mounting and setup are priced separately, and we will quote you before any work starts. If you are not sure which TV size suits your lounge, bring the measurements of your room and we will help you choose. Pay in store, by card or by EFT. Delivery to Johannesburg, Pretoria and the rest of Gauteng usually takes two to three working days. Call us on 011 555 0153 or send a WhatsApp to 082 555 0153 with any questions.
