WE ARE A STELLENBOSCH DECOR SHOP

This bedroom needed warmth without clutter. We suggested a slatted headboard, wool throw, bedside lamps and two framed prints, all delivered by courier in one trip from our Dorp Street shop.

NATURAL MATERIALS

We chose wool, linen and oak because they wear well and feel warm in a Cape winter

CALM COLOURS

Soft whites, clay and olive tones keep the room restful and easy to change later with new cushions

GOOD LIGHT

Two bedside lamps and a dimmable pendant give soft light for reading and evenings. Bulbs included.

Small changes for a warmer home

Start with textiles before buying big furniture. Cushions, a throw and a rug change a room quickly and cost less than a couch.

  • Layer cushions in two sizes.
  • Add a lamp at eye level.
  • Group vases in odd numbers.
