How to Spot a Real Bargain During Black Friday
Every month we receive end-of-range and overstock lines from our suppliers. The stock is new and unused, but the range has been replaced or the order was too big. That is why the price drops, and we pass the saving straight to you.
Check the box, the tags and the warranty before you pay. Ask us anything at the counter.
Know the normal price
Before a sale, note what a similar item costs at other shops. A real deal is a clear drop against that price, not just a red sticker on the shelf.
Our Germiston store gets fresh stock most weeks. Bags, activewear and small electronics move fast, so pop in early in the week if you want the best pick of sizes and colours.
Plan your visit
Bring a list and set a budget. Check the return policy at the till, and ask about bundles on camera gear and backpacks. Our team on President Street will gladly point you to the right aisle.
Sipho Nkosi, Regular Shopper
I bought a backpack and a tripod kit here last month and saved a good amount. The staff were friendly and let me test everything first. I will be back for the month-end sale. Parking was easy and the queue moved quickly. Everything was checked and packed before I left.
Johan Botha, Weekend Photographer
The photo reflector and stand were exactly what I needed for my portraits, and the price was fair. The staff did not push me to buy extras. They simply answered my questions. I drive from Boksburg now whenever a new camera gear delivery lands in store.
Why stock goes on clearance
Shops order in bulk, and ranges change every season. When a colour is dropped or a box is slightly damaged, the item still works perfectly but is hard to sell at full price. We buy these lines and sell them for less. Look at the tag, test the item, and ask our team if you are unsure about anything.
