Gamedorp Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 5, 2023
The terms of this agreement (“ToS”) govern the relationship between you and Gamedorp and its affiliates (hereinafter “Gamedorp” or “Us” or “We”) regarding your use of Gamedorp’s website, store and related services (the “Service”). In this agreement “Gamedorp” means the business trading at 21 Lenchen Avenue, Centurion, 0157. “Gamedorp” also includes affiliates, which shall mean subsidiaries, parent companies, joint ventures and other corporate entities under common ownership. Use of the Service is also governed by Gamedorp’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
For customers in South Africa, you also agree that disputes with Gamedorp must be resolved on an individual basis through arbitration as described in detail in Section 8 (Dispute Resolution).
These terms explain how you may use the Gamedorp website and how we trade with you. Please read them before you place an order or create an account. By using the site, buying from us or collecting an order at our shop in Centurion, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If anything is unclear, send us a message and we will gladly explain it in plain language.
1. License
We give you a limited, personal licence to browse the site and buy products for your own use. You may not copy our product descriptions, photos or reviews for resale, and you may not use automated tools to scrape prices or stock levels. Digital game codes are for one account only and may not be shared, resold or traded. Physical discs are sold for personal use, and a licence to play does not transfer ownership of the game itself, which stays with its publisher.
2. Ownership
All text, logos, images and layouts on this site belong to Gamedorp or to the game publishers who supplied them. Game titles, artwork and trademarks remain the property of their owners. Nothing on the site gives you the right to use them without written permission. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, please email us and we will look into it quickly.
3. User Content
If you post a review or comment, you remain responsible for what you write. Keep it honest and respectful. Please do not post hateful, unlawful or misleading content, or spoilers without a warning. You allow us to display your review on the site and in our shop marketing. We may remove anything that breaks these rules, and we may close accounts that repeatedly do so.
4. Fees and Purchase Terms
All prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT. We may change prices at any time, but the price you saw when you paid is the price you keep. Pre-orders are charged when you order. If a game is delayed by the publisher, you may wait for the new date or cancel for a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel an order if a price was listed incorrectly, and we will tell you before we do.
5. Updates to The Service
Stock, prices and delivery options change often, so the site is updated regularly. We may add, change or remove products, features or payment methods without notice. If we make a big change to these terms, we will post the new version here and show the date it took effect. Using the site after an update means you accept the new terms. Orders already paid for stay under the terms that applied on the day.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
We work hard to keep descriptions, release dates and stock levels correct, but we cannot promise the site is always free of errors or interruptions. Games are sold with the manufacturer's warranty, and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act remain in place. Faulty discs, codes or controllers can be returned to our Centurion shop or by courier. We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.
