TUNED IN CLAREMONT
Each Knoppie unit is tuned by ear in our Claremont workshop before it is boxed. We listen to music, podcasts and voice calls to make sure nothing sounds thin or boomy. The result is a clear, warm sound that suits small rooms as well as open patios.
We would rather spend an extra week on the tuning than send you something that only sounds good in the shop. Your living room is the real test.
Placement matters too. Near a wall the bass gets fuller, and in open space it stays tighter. Try a few spots, then use the app to adjust the equaliser until it feels right. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the room on WhatsApp and we will suggest a spot.
