Power Backup

Keeping your security running during load shedding

Load shedding creates gaps in home security that criminals may try to exploit. Alarm panels, electric fences, gate motors, beams and cameras all rely on power, and their built-in batteries are often old or too small to last through repeated outages. Many homeowners only discover a flat battery when the alarm stops working at the worst possible time.

We start by testing existing batteries and replacing those that no longer hold a charge. Next, we connect key security devices to a small backup supply or your existing inverter so they keep running through each outage. Regular checks matter too, because frequent load shedding cycles wear batteries out faster than normal.
