Choosing between a website and a mobile app
Clients often ask us for an app when a well-built mobile website would serve them better. A website works on any phone, needs no download and is easier to update. An app makes sense when people will use it often, need it offline or rely on phone features such as the camera or notifications.
We look at how often your customers will come back and what they need to do each time. If the answer is once a month to check something, a fast mobile site is usually the smarter spend. If it is daily use, an app can earn its place.
