A Somerset West home needed power that stayed on through load shedding.
We fitted a 5kW hybrid inverter with a 10kWh wall mounted battery to cover the essential circuits.
New wiring and a rooftop isolator box went in first, before any panels touched the roof.
Mounting rails went up on the north facing side, where the roof gets full sun most of the day.
The result
Lights, the fridge and the Wi-Fi now stay on through outages, and the daytime bill dropped once the panels took over.
