We design calm, practical buildings that suit the coast and still feel right years later. We plan each house around the site, the views and the wind. We leave out what is not needed and keep the main things: comfort, good light and a quiet home.
What sets us apart from other studios is careful design, local knowledge of the Overstrand and experience across different building types, including family homes, holiday houses, renovations and small commercial projects. Each design is made for its own site and the people who use it.

We help clients turn their plans into buildings that fit the way they live, their site and the coastal weather. We draw by hand and in 3D, so you can see the spaces before anything is built.
Our work includes new family homes, holiday houses, renovations of older cottages, interior architecture for kitchens and living areas, and small shops, offices and guest houses in Hermanus and nearby towns.
