HOW A RENOVATION PROJECT RUNS
Renovating a home you live in can be stressful, so we plan each step clearly and keep you informed.
At the first meeting we walk through the house with you and talk about what works and what does not. We look at the light, the flow between rooms, storage and the condition of the roof and walls, and we discuss your budget.
Next we measure the house and draw it as it stands. We then sketch two or three options for the new layout and talk them through with you using 3D views. Once you choose a direction, we refine it into sketch plans.
When the design is agreed, we prepare plans for council approval, including any heritage review an older home needs. After approval we draw the details the builder needs.
What you will need
Please share your title deed, any approved plans and photos of problem areas. A rough budget helps us suggest realistic options. We visit site during building to check the work follows the drawings.
FAQs
A small renovation can move from first meeting to council submission within a few months. New homes take longer, and approval times vary, so we plan realistically.

Yes. We know several reliable builders in Hermanus and the Overstrand. We send your drawings to two or three of them for quotes and help you compare.
