Kitchen colour trends we are seeing in Garden Route homes

So how long does a made to measure kitchen take? According to our workshop team in George, most jobs need about four to six weeks from signed drawing to installation day. Boards are cut, edged and drilled in our workshop, then checked before they leave. Our installers say the wait is worth it, because every panel arrives labelled for its place.

Do not rush the measuring stage. If a wall is out by a few millimetres, it is far cheaper to fix on paper than on site.

Once the doors are hung, we adjust each hinge and drawer by hand so everything closes softly and sits level.

Plan a Bedroom Cupboard That Fits

A good built-in cupboard starts with a tape measure and an honest look at what you own. Count your hanging rails, shelves and shoe space before we draw anything. At Kombuiskas in George, we measure the room on site, then build each cupboard to fit around windows, slanted ceilings and awkward corners.

Choose doors that suit how you live. Sliding doors save floor space in a small room, while hinged doors give easier access to everything inside. Most of our bedroom cupboards are installed within a day, and you can visit us at 41 York Street to see the finishes.
