Using Mockups to Present Your Designs Like a Pro

Every Digikaap file comes as a simple download. Pay, open your email and the link is waiting for you. Fonts, presets and mockups arrive in tidy folders with a short guide inside, so you can start using them straight away.

Our e-books and courses work the same way. Save them to your phone or laptop and learn at your own pace. If a file will not open, send us a message on WhatsApp at 082 555 0137 and we will sort it out for you, usually the same day.

Fonts are the quickest way to give a brand a voice. A script face feels personal, a clean sans feels modern, and a serif feels established. Try your business name in three or four options before you decide.

Then check that the font works at small sizes, in black and white, and on a phone screen. A logo that only looks good when it is large will let you down on invoices and social media.

Mockups let a client see your work on a real product before anything is printed. Drop your artwork into the smart layer, adjust the shadows, and export. A packaging box, a vinyl sleeve or a shopfront sign all look more convincing when shown in a believable scene. It also saves you a round of revisions.

Photographers in the Western Cape work with strong, golden light and long shadows. A good preset softens the highlights and keeps the greens natural, which suits vineyards and mountain shots. Start with the preset, lower the exposure a little, and warm up the tones only if the scene needs it. Save each version so you can compare.
