Description

Laptop Power That Slides Into Bags

The Baseus Blade is a 20000mAh power bank shaped more like a thin notebook than a brick. That flat design slips into a laptop sleeve or backpack without a bulge. It can deliver up to 100W over USB-C, which is enough to charge many laptops, not only phones. A small digital display shows exactly how much power is left, so there is no guessing with four blinking lights. When load-shedding knocks out the Wi-Fi and the plugs, this is the thing that keeps your laptop and phone running until Eskom switches the lights back on.

Slim Profile

The Blade is wide and flat instead of thick and round. It lies neatly under a laptop in a bag and feels solid in the hand, with a smooth finish that shrugs off scratches from keys and coins.

See Exactly How Much Is Left

The screen shows remaining charge as a percentage, so you always know where you stand. Recharge it in good time before the next load-shedding slot starts.

To get the full 100W, connect a laptop that supports USB-C Power Delivery using a cable rated for 100W or more. Phones and tablets will take only the power they need, so it is safe to use with most modern devices. When several devices charge at the same time, the output is shared between the ports. A 20000mAh power bank will not charge a laptop battery many times over, but it can usually give a few extra hours of work. Recharging the bank itself goes fastest with a strong USB-C wall charger. Keep it out of direct sun in a hot car.

Power banks rated at 20000mAh are generally accepted as hand luggage on local and international flights, but they may not go in checked bags. Rules differ between airlines, so check with yours before you fly to Joburg, Durban or anywhere overseas.

The real usable capacity is lower than 20000mAh because some energy is always lost as heat during conversion.

This is normal for every power bank on the market and does not mean your unit is faulty or damaged in any way.
