A Steady Stand for Your Desk
The Ugreen Cell Phone Stand fixes a small daily problem: a phone that keeps sliding around your desk. It holds the screen upright at a comfortable angle, so you can read messages, follow a recipe or join a video call without holding anything. The frame is solid aluminium alloy with soft silicone pads on the base and the cradle, which prevents scratches and keeps it from slipping. It fits most phones and small tablets up to about 7.6 inches, with or without a slim case. A gap at the bottom leaves room for your charging cable.
Folds Flat
When you are done for the day, the stand folds down small enough for a laptop bag or a drawer. Take it to the office, a hotel room or the braai and prop up your phone for music.
Set the Angle You Like
The hinges move smoothly and hold firm once set. Tilt the cradle back for reading, or raise it higher so your face sits nicely in frame on calls.
Place the stand on a flat, stable surface before you set your phone in it. Open the top arm first, then choose the angle with the lower hinge. The pads grip well, but wipe them now and then with a damp cloth, because dust makes them less sticky. Do not use solvents on the aluminium, a dry microfibre cloth keeps it looking clean. The stand comes new and sealed with the Ugreen warranty that applies in South Africa. At R299 it is an easy add-on to a phone order, and it ships with the rest of your parcel from our Cape Town store.
The 7.6 inch size is the largest screen the cradle is built for, measured diagonally. Heavy tablets or thick rugged cases can make the stand tip forward, so test the fit gently before you leave a big device resting on it.
No power, app or setup is needed, so it keeps doing its job during load-shedding and never needs a charger.
The silver finish may look slightly different on your screen compared with the real stand in your hand at home.
