Fynbos Cardigan
R950.00
An open cotton cardigan for cool mornings and air-conditioned offices.
Every Karoobelle garment starts with cloth we stand behind: cotton, linen and lambswool picked for how it wears after a year, not how it looks on the roll. Cutting happens in our Harrington Street studio, and the sewing a few metres away, in runs small enough that one machinist follows a garment from first seam to last stitch.
We would rather make two hundred shirts a season that people keep wearing than two thousand we apologise for later.
Seams are finished to survive a proper wash. Buttons are stitched twice. Hems are turned deep enough to let down when a child needs the length. Sizes run XS to XXL, kids sizes in centimetres, and every label carries plain care wording. Wash cool, dry flat in shade, iron on the reverse. Linen will soften and crease, and that is the fabric doing its job.

FABRIC AND FIT
We choose cloth that gets better with washing rather than worse. Cotton is prewashed so it holds its shape, linen softens after a few wears, and the lambswool is spun fine enough to sit against skin without itching.
HOW TO LOOK AFTER IT
- Wash cool at thirty degrees with a mild liquid, inside out.
- Dry flat in the shade, since direct sun fades natural dye.
- Warm iron on the reverse, and fold knitwear instead of hanging it.
If the fit is wrong, send it back within thirty days and we will swap the size or refund you. Courier delivery is R150 nationwide, free over R1500.
