FRANSCHHOEK RESTAURANT DINING ROOM

THE BRIEF.

A family restaurant on Huguenot Road needed eighty seats to handle busy Sunday lunches, wine spills and winter fires without looking tired after a year.

THE FURNITURE.

We made twenty oak tables and eighty Fynbos Oak Dining Chairs, finished in a hard oil that the staff can touch up themselves.

THE RESULT.

The restaurant reopened before harvest season. Eighteen months later the chairs still sit square, and regulars keep asking where they came from.
