A flat leather sandal with an adjustable ankle strap.

Every pair is cut, closed and lasted by hand in our Cape Town workshop, then stitched to a sole that can be taken off and put back on. The leather gives where your foot asks it to.
Wipe the dust off, feed the grain with a little cream now and then, and let wet shoes dry slowly. When the sole wears thin, send them back.
MATERIALS AND FIT
Cut from full-grain hide and lined in soft calf, with a stitched sole we can replace on the bench later. The last runs a touch wider through the forefoot, which suits most feet.

CARE AND FIT
Leather needs a little attention and not much else. Wipe the dust off after a long day, let wet pairs dry slowly away from a heater, and give the uppers a thin coat of cream every month or so.
HOW TO LOOK AFTER THEM
- Use cedar shoe trees overnight to hold the shape.
- Rotate pairs so the lining has a day to dry.
- Bring worn soles back to us before the welt goes.
