About our online store
Good shoes are not bought often, they are mended often, and that is the whole idea here.
Veldstride began in a small Cape Town workshop with two benches, a hand stitcher and a stack of hides from a tannery down the road. We still work that way, cutting leather boots, sneakers, sandals and school shoes by hand, and resoling the pairs our customers bring back.
