When is a pair worth resoling?
Look at the welt, the stitched seam where the sole meets the upper. If that is sound and the leather has no splits through the flex point, the pair is worth saving no matter how thin the tread has gone. If the welt has torn away in places we can replace it, though that adds about a week.
Send a photo of the sole and the inside heel to the workshop and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth the money.
