FAQs

Frequently asked questions(FAQ)

What ages do you teach?

We teach learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Classes run after school and in the holidays, and our online courses can be done from home at any time.

How do your classes help learners?

Small groups mean every learner gets attention from a qualified tutor. We go through school work step by step, close gaps from earlier grades, and practise past exam papers. Learners gain confidence, parents get regular feedback on progress, and marks usually improve within a term or two.

Why do learners need exam practice?

Learners often find the content easier than the exam itself. Marks are lost on time pressure, unfamiliar question styles and silly mistakes, not only on gaps in knowledge. Working through real papers with a tutor shows exactly where marks slip away. Our tutors set timed practice papers, mark them with the learner and explain every step. Learners then redo the weak sections until they feel sure. This builds speed, calm and confidence, and it makes the November NSC and IEB papers far less frightening on the day.

Can my child try a class first?

Yes. Every new learner can attend one trial lesson at no cost. If you enrol and decide within 14 days that the class is not right for your child, we will refund the unused part of your fee. All we ask is that if something is not working, you speak to us early, so we can change the group, the tutor or the plan.

What support do parents get?

Parents get regular progress reports, test marks and tutor feedback. You can also phone or WhatsApp the centre on 082 555 0163 whenever you have a question.

How do online classes work?

Online courses run on our learning platform. Learners log in with a password we send, watch lessons, and send questions to the tutor by email, with replies within one day.
