Island Malt Irish Whiskey is matured near the coast, which some say gives it a faint salt note under the malt and honey. It is a single malt made for sipping slowly.
Try it neat first, then with a drop of water if you want the sweetness to open up. A 750 ml bottle, bottled at 40% alcohol, and good value for an everyday single malt.
How to drink it
Pour a small measure, let it sit for a minute, then add a few drops of water to open it up. No ice needed, though nobody will judge you.
It pairs well with dark chocolate or a strong cheese after dinner, and it holds its own in a whiskey sour if you prefer a cocktail.

This whiskey works well on its own after dinner, but it also holds up fine in a whiskey sour if you want to mix it. The malt and honey notes still come through under the citrus.
