SIZING AND FIT
Our school shirts are cut for active children and built to survive a full year of washing. The collars stay crisp and the buttons are sewn on twice. Pick your child's size from our sizing guide, or bring them in to our shop on Wellington Road and we will measure them while you wait.
Buying for a new school year is easier with a plan. Start with the school's own list, then check what still fits from last year. Most children need two shirts, one pair of trousers or a skirt, a jersey and a pair of sturdy shoes to begin.

SPORTS KIT BASICS
Every school year starts with a long list, and a good blazer sits near the top of it. Ours are cut for growing children who run, climb and carry heavy bags, so the seams are reinforced and the lining is soft against the skin. The fabric is a hard wearing polyester and wool blend that keeps its shape after many washes. Sleeves have a little room to be let down, which helps when a growth spurt arrives in June. Badges can be sewn on neatly, and the pockets are deep enough for a pen, a ruler and a snack. Check the size guide before you order, and measure over a school shirt. If it does not fit, bring it back to our Durbanville shop within fourteen days.
Our shirts and blouses are made to be washed every week. The cotton blend dries fast and needs very little ironing, which helps on busy school mornings. Collars hold their shape and buttons are sewn on firmly. Choose a size up if your child is between sizes, because most children grow quickly. Colours match what Western Cape schools ask for, and we can check your school's list if you are unsure.
FIT AND SIZING
Buying uniform for the first time can feel like a lot. Start with the school's official list and tick off what your child already has. Measure height, chest and waist at home with a soft tape. Write the numbers down and keep them in your phone. Our sizing chart shows age, height and fit for each item. Most items run true to size, but shoes and blazers are worth trying on. Bring your child in on a weekday if you can, because the shop is quieter and our staff have more time to help.
Growing room matters, but too much room looks untidy and can be unsafe on the sports field. One size up is usually enough for trousers and skirts. Jerseys can be bought a little bigger, since they are worn over other layers. If you order online and the fit is wrong, send us a WhatsApp message on 082 555 0148 and we will arrange an exchange. Keep the tags on until you are sure, and wash everything once before the first day of term to soften the fabric.

Skooldrag delivers school uniforms to homes and schools across the Western Cape. Orders placed before 12:00 on a weekday usually leave our Durbanville shop the same day. Most parcels arrive within two to four working days.
