Starting a Side Business While You Study Online

Many of our students start a small business while they are still studying. It is possible, but keep it simple. Begin with one service, one price and a few clients you already know, such as neighbours, friends or former colleagues. Use what you learn right away. How to choose your first business skill

Start with the skill people around you already pay for. In many Johannesburg neighbourhoods that means websites, social media, bookkeeping and tutoring. Pick one and learn it well before adding another.

Learning while you earn

Take on a small paid job after your first few lessons. Real clients show you what the course cannot. Keep a short list of questions and bring them to our next live class.
