Learning on Your Phone with Limited Data

Load shedding can wreck a study plan if you let it. The fix is to plan around the schedule, not against it. Check your slots each week and mark them on a calendar.
During power cuts, do the offline tasks: reading, summaries and practice questions. Save the video lessons and live classes for when the lights are on.
A flat battery is a scheduling problem, not a reason to stop learning. Zanele Khumalo, Live Classes CoordinatorAll our live classes are recorded, so if the power goes off you can catch up later at your own pace.
Charge and prepare ahead
Charge your phone, laptop and power bank before each outage. Download the next lesson while you still have power and data. Keep a printed copy of the week’s tasks so you always know what to do next.
Make the most of the dark hours
Use offline time for handwritten notes, flash cards and reading. Many students find they remember more when they write by hand. When the power returns, type up your notes and send any questions to your tutor through the student portal.
