Ordering for a group without the chaos
Feeding a group is never as easy as feeding one person. Everyone wants something different, and somebody always changes their order at the last minute. We deliver a lot of office lunches and family gatherings, so we have picked up a few tricks for keeping a big order simple.
Here is what we tell our group customers when they call Hapdash.
One Caller
Ask one person to collect everyone's choices and place the order as one call or one online order. It saves a lot of back and forth, and it means the kitchen gets a clear list instead of five different messages about the same lunch.
If people want to pay back, a quick note of who chose what makes splitting the bill easy once the food has arrived.
Order Early
Big orders take a bit longer in the kitchen, so call or place a group order at least an hour before you want it to arrive. This gives us time to get everything cooked, packed and out the door together, instead of the food arriving in two or three separate deliveries.
Mix and match is fine. A group order can have burgers, pizza, wraps and a few sides for sharing, all in the same delivery. Just tell us if any bags need to be kept apart for someone with an allergy, and we will pack and label those separately so nothing gets mixed up on the table.
