What are the Benefits of Merino Wool for Babies

Wigglebee blog 9 opt

Merino wool is the fibre we keep coming back to for winter. It holds warmth when a baby is cold and lets heat out when the car gets stuffy, which matters on a Stellenbosch morning that turns into a warm afternoon. It does not itch the way older, coarser wool did.

It is also practical. Merino resists odour, so a Winter Bear Jumper can go a few wears between washes, and it still feels warm if it gets slightly damp on the school run. Wash it cool, dry it flat, and one good jumper will carry a baby through most of the season.
