MADE ON THE BENCH, NOT THE LINE
Our makers cut, skive and stitch each upper themselves, then last it over a shape adjusted for wider feet. Nothing moves down a line. A pair takes most of a working day, and the maker puts their initials inside the tongue.
We would rather sell you one pair that lasts eight years and gets resoled twice than four pairs that give up in a season. That idea has not changed since the workshop opened.
Leather needs a little care to go the distance. Brush the dust off after a long walk, let wet shoes dry away from a heater, and feed the uppers with our Leather Care Kit every few months. Cedar Shoe Trees hold the shape between wears.

Delivery by courier is R150 anywhere in South Africa, and free over R1800 on any order. Returns stay open for thirty days from the day it arrives.
Good leather, honest stitching, and a sole that can be replaced. That is the whole idea.

CARE AND FIT
Leather needs a little attention and not much else. Wipe the dust off after a long day, let wet pairs dry slowly away from a heater, and give the uppers a thin coat of cream every month or so.
HOW TO LOOK AFTER THEM
- Use cedar shoe trees overnight to hold the shape.
- Rotate pairs so the lining has a day to dry.
- Bring worn soles back to us before the welt goes.
