Before you pay for any course, ask the lecturer a few honest questions. Who is this course for? What will I be able to do when I finish? How much time does each week take? A good lecturer answers in plain words.
Also ask how you can get help. Can you send questions by WhatsApp or email, and how quickly do they reply?
The best question to ask a lecturer is what students did with the course afterwards. Lindiwe DlaminiAt Boekrak Learning, you are welcome to contact any lecturer before you enrol. Call us on 021 555 0222 or send an email to info@example.co.za. We would rather you choose the right course than the quickest one.
Questions about the course
Ask what the lessons cover and how long each week will take. Find out whether there are assignments, a final test or a certificate. Check what data and equipment you need, and whether lessons can be downloaded for when the power or the network is down.
Questions about support
Ask how you can reach your lecturer and how fast they reply. Find out if there are live sessions or only recorded lessons. Ask what happens if you fall behind. A lecturer who answers these clearly is usually one who cares about your results.

Good article for teachers. The advice on moving lessons online is clear and easy to follow. I will try it with my Grade 9 learners.

Helpful read for students and lecturers alike. The points on mobile learning in our schools matched what I see every day. Well done.
