Maths Literacy or Pure Maths: Which to Choose

Many learners now do maths online, and it is easy to fall behind when nobody sees you in a classroom. The fix is a fixed routine. Pick three days a week, same time, same quiet spot.
Our Online Courses Manager, David Abrahams, sees the same pattern every term: learners who log in on schedule finish the course.
Do a little maths every day. Twenty minutes beats a three hour panic on Sunday night. David Abrahams, Online Courses ManagerWrite down every question you get stuck on and bring it to your next live session with our tutors in Menlo Park.
Watch the lesson, then do the work
Do not just watch the video. Pause it, copy the worked example into your book and try the next one without looking. If you cannot finish it, rewind and watch that step again. Maths only sticks when your own pencil does the work.
Ask for help early
If one topic stays unclear for more than two days, send us a message on WhatsApp at 082 555 0163. A short chat with Pieter van der Merwe or another tutor can clear it up before the gap grows.

I really enjoyed this post. My son has started using past papers every afternoon and his confidence in Maths is already much better.

Clear and practical article. I shared it with my Grade 11 class group and we are already trying the revision timetable ideas before the November exams.
