The NSC final exams start in October and run into November. Most Grade 12 learners at Kennispunt Academy say the last six weeks feel shorter than expected. Start with a simple timetable. Put the hardest papers first and give each subject its own days. Use past papers from the last five years. Mark them honestly with the memo, then redo every question you lost marks on.

Sleep, eat properly and keep one afternoon a week free. Tired learners make careless mistakes, and those cost marks in Maths and Physical Sciences.

How to plan your revision weeks

Count the days left and list every paper you must write. Give each subject a block of time and keep the blocks short, about 45 minutes each. Start every session with a question you got wrong last time. At Kennispunt Academy, our tutors ask learners to hand in one marked past paper a week.

Why rest matters before finals

A rested learner reads questions more carefully and remembers more. Stop studying by nine at night, pack your bag the evening before and walk through your exam venue route. Small habits like these keep nerves down on the morning of the paper.
