Questions to Ask Before You Sign Up for a Course

Most of us left school with questions we never asked. How do I pick a career? What is the difference between a diploma and a short course? Can I study while I work? It is not too late to ask. Our team in Braamfontein hears these questions every week. Come to an open day or send us a WhatsApp message. Nobody will judge you for asking something basic.

Write your questions down before you speak to a teacher or adviser. Ask about costs, about how long it takes and about what jobs people get afterwards. Then ask for the answers in writing so you can think them over at home.

Questions every learner should ask

Ask what the course will let you do, not only what it will teach you. Ask how you will be assessed and who to call when you are stuck. Clear answers show a provider that takes learners seriously.

Why asking early saves money

A five minute chat before you pay can save months of study on the wrong course. Speak to a past student if you can. They will tell you plainly how much time it really takes.
