Description
Leica Cameras and Very Fast Charging
The Xiaomi 13T Pro gives you flagship features at a price that leaves some money over for data. Its cameras were tuned together with Leica, and the photos have a natural, rich look that many people love. Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip, fast enough for heavy gaming and editing video on the go. The 6.67 inch AMOLED screen runs at a high refresh rate, so scrolling feels smooth. A large 5,000 mAh battery and 120W HyperCharge mean you can top up quickly between rounds of load-shedding.
Bold Looks
The 13T Pro has a flat screen, slim bezels and a large square camera module with the Leica name printed beside it. Depending on the colour you pick, the back is either glass or a soft textured finish.
Full Charge in About Twenty Minutes
With the 120W charger in the box, the battery goes from nearly empty to full in about twenty minutes. Handy before a trip or a long day.
The Xiaomi 13T Pro has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, which is unusual for a phone in this price range. It was tested in controlled conditions, and real-world protection can drop over time as the seals age. Rain, splashes and sand at the beach should not worry you, but avoid swimming or showering with it. Always dry the USB-C port before charging, especially with a 120W fast charger. Liquid damage falls outside warranty cover. The phone ships new and sealed with full SA warranty, and runs Xiaomi's own software on top of Android for a familiar feel.
The screen measures 6.67 inches diagonally if you ignore its rounded corners, so the true viewing area is a little smaller. It is still big enough for split screen apps, streaming your favourite series and comfortable reading of long WhatsApp chats.
Charging times depend on using the original Xiaomi charger and cable, the room temperature and your battery health.
Leica camera modes are available in the camera app and can be turned on or off to suit your own taste.
